John Galbraith was born in Canada, and educated at the universities of Toronto, California and Cambridge, Galbraith taught economics at Harvard and served as U.S. ambassador to India under President John F. Kennedy.His published workers include: The Great Crash (1955), The Affluent Society (1958), The Liberal Hour (1960), Made to Last (1964), and The New Industrial State (1967).
